Im having issues with the carousel on the home page from the demo website.
we want to use it as the main feature on the website for our photos but when im trying to upload stuff to the portfolio section it doesnt show. ive uploaded and created new portfolio files with images in the gallery but nothing is showing still when i refresh the webite preview. i am using the XLM file from the demo site to then make changes to the way its already set out.

To display your portfolio items on the homepage, please follow these steps:
Create and prepare your portfolio items (as you have already done), but also make sure that you upload a featured image for each item. These featured images will be used when displaying the items on the template.
Open the edit screen of the homepage and select the "Featured Works" template under the Template option (see attached).
On your admin dashboard, go to "Appearance > Customize > Portfolio Styles" and select "Carousel" for the "Template Display Mode" option. This option is under the "Featured Works Template Styles" section (see attached).
After completing this setup, your portfolio items should appear on the homepage with the carousel style.
