On the home page, I use the Page Intro settings, but the content area is not activated. At first, setting the Intro Body Text worked fine, but now I`m not able to change this. The change is showing in the settings page, not does not update on the home page
To make the content panel displayed, please go to the page edit screen then scroll down and you will see these options: http://cl.ly/image/2J2j1w3G310I
Just select them as "On" and the content area will display on the page.
Ok, maybe I didnt explain myself good enough here. I want to have the Page Intro dispalyed, not the content area. But any change to the Intro heading and intro body text does not get updated

If so, that is not Page Intro, it is a fullscreen slider's caption.
Page Intro is actually this one: http://cl.ly/image/030B031c201y . It will only display with the "content area" as you can see in the screenshot.
So, if you would like to change the caption text on homepage, please open the page edit screen, scroll down to the "Fullscreen Slider Settings" meta box, click to expand the slide then you can edit the caption text of the slide (screenshot: http://cl.ly/image/2w2U1g0L2W0H ).
