Whenever I attempt to drag items in columns, they turn to a solid green box and become unusable. I have to refresh or update page. Can move rows and columns just fine.
Please update the theme to the latest version (v1.0.1 as I am writing). The latest version includes Visual Composer 4.3.5 which already fixed that. You can find the instructions for how to update the theme in the provided documentation, under the section of "How To > Update the theme + plugins".
