I have spent several hours wrestling with this but can't understand what's going on.
I've created a page using the "Portfolio: All Works" template and portfolio items are displaying when I'm in edit mode, but when I preview the page the portfolio items completely disappear but the categories on the left sidebar are still there. I've tried with blog posts and portfolio items from other plugins and it's exactly the same thing.
However, when I use the 'Default template' template then everything is fine. But I lose the categories sidebar on the left which was the reason I bought the Jeanne theme in the first place.
I am sorry for the slow reply. In this case, I would suggest following the tutorial from the documentation, under the section of "How To > Create and display your portfolio". You can find the documentation right in the purchased package of the theme.
