Good evening, the "Items Order portfolio by" works only alphabetically, if I select any other option (slug, modified data, published data, random...) doesn't work, and also"Portfolio Items Order ascending and descending" doesn't work. How can this be solved? The theme is updated to the latest version.
Hmm, strange. I just tested the functionality here on my end and it worked fine. Could you please first check that the current screen is the portfolio items view, not the portfolio category view? Because that sorting feature only works on the portfolio items.

For example, on our demo site, the homepage is showing the portfolio category view: http://themes.uxbarn.com/wp/finnik/ . And when any category is clicked, you will see the items of that category: http://themes.uxbarn.com/wp/finnik/portfolio-category/landscapes/ . The items page is where the sorting feature for.
Anyway, if you wanted to manually sort the items, I would also recommend this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-types-order/
