Dear support hello! We have recently bought and installed the kose theme but i notice that it have not installed properly. Bluesky support told me that the demo file is missing. Can you please help?
The demo file is included in the purchase package. You will see an XML file inside.
In this case, I would suggest following the theme installation guide provided in the documentation. After finishing all the steps, you will get most posts/pages and portfolio items just like the demo site.
Note that you can also find the documentation in the purchased package.
5. Open the "Documentation" folder and open the "index.html" file inside for the documentation. And the "kosedata.wordpress.2018-09-25.xml" file is the demo content.
After following the installation instruction from the theme documentation, you will get all the content like the demo site.
Regarding the logo text issue, please go to "Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS" and try applying this code:
#logo-wrapper {
word-wrap: break-word;
}
It will wrap the text to make it fit the area if the text is too long.
For the photos, the demo content only includes placeholder images, not the real photos as showing on the demo site because of the restriction of the license that they cannot be redistributed in the selling package. Anyway, you can use them as a guideline and easily replace them with your own photos in the areas.
And to add the social icons, please go to "Theme Options > Social Network".
I have not yet configured the logo cause I still have many issues with the installation. The demo file has been installed, and I have started working on the website.
Yesterday, when I logged in, it seemed like the demo file was missing again.
I followed the procedure again, but nothing happened.
It has been three weeks since we purchased the theme, and we do not even have the support to install it. Please help!

This is really strange because the theme itself cannot revert or alter any data on your website. Please first make sure that you do not have any auto backup/restore functionality enabled on your site or server.
After that, please send me the login account to your website. I will help you upload the demo XML file.
* Don't forget to mark your reply as Private when sending the credentials.
I just checked your website and noticed that you have already placed the blog categories on the site menu properly; also the meta info (date, author, and comment info) and blog sidebar were all removed (this is the category I checked: https://fdh.yrz.mybluehost.me/spirospapadopoulos/category/theatre/ ).
So, I assume you have already figured the issue out?
Yes Paul, thank you! I have figured some of these out. Thank you!
What i do not understand is what pictures to use in the background so the website is comfortable to read because as i can understand there will always be a background picture
Just a quick tip that you can also adjust the opacity and background color of the content area if you find it is currently difficult to read the text. To do so, please go to "Appearance > Customize > Content".
Sure. When you are on the page edit screen, scroll down a bit and you will see a meta box called "Fullscreen Slider Settings" (screenshot: https://share.getcloudapp.com/2Nuw5kR1 ). You can use this section to upload an image and it will be used as a fullscreen background on the front-end.
then scroll down, you will see the option like in this screenshot: https://share.getcloudapp.com/KoudBPZj . You can then add a new slide and upload an image to be used as a background specifically for that post.
But for the background of each category, it will use the same background image you uploaded for the blog page (it is your "Blog" page under the Pages menu in this case).
The categories do not have their separate background I am afraid.

I can not locate the demo file. How is it named?
Can you please help me with this?
We have purchased the theme two weeks ago and we still searching on how to install it.
Please follow these steps:
1. Go to the ThemeForest site and log in with the account that made a purchase.
2. Go to the "Downloads" page under your account.
3. Click the "Download" button and select "All files & documentation" (screenshot: https://share.getcloudapp.com/12uAplQe ).
4. When the download is complete, extract the package and you will see the content like this screenshot: https://share.getcloudapp.com/4gu2w8qe
5. Open the "Documentation" folder and open the "index.html" file inside for the documentation. And the "kosedata.wordpress.2018-09-25.xml" file is the demo content.

Let me know if you have any questions.
Hello! I followed the steps. The theme looks better but not quite right.
For example, why the slider photos and the social media icons are missing?
Also, why the letters (in the logo section) are out of the menu border?
Thank you

Ok Paul, thank you!
I inserted the code. It wraps the text into three words but in truth they are two words (SPIROS PAPADOPOULOS).
As for the photos and the social media, we are ok, thank you!
Since the word is quite long to fit in the area, we would also need to change its font size and the area around it. So, please try this:

Thank you for the information. I just helped you import the XML data again. What I had done was:
It now looks like the demo site. I hope everything is fine now!
It is! Thank you very much!
Can I make another question, please?
I have built some main categories (THEATRE, TELEVISION, CINEMA, NEWS) and placed them in the main menu.
I want those to be as a list page and to place in there all the acts that Spiros Papadopoulos has played (he is an actor).
I like the sample list page but with some differences. Can you please check the screenshot?
Thank you!

Thank you for the tip. Could you also tell me how I edit the slider and the background photos, please?
Paul hi, I have categories and posts. I have no pages.
In the categories and posts edit page I do not see the options you showed me.
Can I show everywhere the slider that is shown on the home page?
Thank you!
For example, if you open the edit screen of this post: https://fdh.yrz.mybluehost.me/spirospapadopoulos/2020-%cf%80%ce%b5%cf%81%ce%b9%ce%bc%ce%ad%ce%bd%ce%bf%ce%bd%cf%84%ce%b1%cf%82-%cf%84%ce%bf%ce%bd-%ce%b3%ce%ba%ce%bf%ce%bd%cf%84%cf%8c/
then scroll down, you will see the option like in this screenshot: https://share.getcloudapp.com/KoudBPZj . You can then add a new slide and upload an image to be used as a background specifically for that post.
But for the background of each category, it will use the same background image you uploaded for the blog page (it is your "Blog" page under the Pages menu in this case).
The categories do not have their separate background I am afraid.
Paul hi,
I have placed pictures in the page's slides (home and blog).
But in each post edit page, I do not see the same format and I can not find where to place the image slide.
Thank you
Hmm. I just tested adding an image slide for this post: https://fdh.yrz.mybluehost.me/spirospapadopoulos/2020-%CF%80%CE%B5%CF%81%CE%B9%CE%BC%CE%AD%CE%BD%CE%BF%CE%BD%CF%84%CE%B1%CF%82-%CF%84%CE%BF%CE%BD-%CE%B3%CE%BA%CE%BF%CE%BD%CF%84%CF%8C/
and it is currently showing properly.
Or it is another page/post you meant? Could you please send me the URL? I will help you check it.
Οκ got it!
What makes things difficult is that the desktop uses landscape pics but the mobile needs vertical.
In case I do not want to use a picture can I somehow disable the image so in the mobile version the text comes higher? Check screenshot
Please try the custom CSS from this article: https://uxbarn.ticksy.com/article/7472/
