Did you mean the "description" of the Portfolio Categories (Portfolio > Portfolio Categories) ? If so, unfortunately, the theme does not display the description of the portfolio categories on the front-end.
But if you mean the description of the images on the portfolio single pages, you can make it display by entering the text into the "Caption" field of each image.
Hallo! Is there any possibility to enter a visible (for the user) 'description' on each category?
