    Hello,

This morning, I discover an error on my Wordpress interface:

ERROR: This theme could not be loaded correctly and was paused in the admin interface.

My site is unavailable, blank page ....

    FinelinerVersion: 2.1.1

Can you please tell me where it comes from and how to fix the problem?
    Regards,

Hmm. I have just created a new directory called "/wp-content/uxbarn_backups/" and put the old "Fineliner" theme folder in there. Then I have uploaded a fresh copy of the default theme to the WP themes folder.

This ensures that every theme file is at the latest version and there's no custom code included. It seems your site is currently up and running fine again. Let me know if this helps.

It's very strange. It looks like all of the theme files were replaced again and again with the corrupted ones...

Not sure if there's any auto backup and restore functions enabled somehow on your end? Could you ask your server admin about this?

Hmm. Could you try disabling all the backup/restore feature including the WordPress plugin first? And see if the issue still randomly happens.

  • missdiamant42 replied

I deactivated this plugin and reuploaded the theme.. We will see...

Again, it seems the issue you found was about the corrupted file though it was already replaced by the new one. I am sorry, but the theme itself is not the cause because it cannot alter the code and make its files corrupted by itself...

I am wondering how long have you been using the theme for your WP site? Did the issue happen right from the start when you were using it? Do you have another server with another environment to test?

By the way, as I am replying, I just checked your site and it was working normally.

    Hello,

I have been using the Fineliner theme since the creation of my site ...
The problem has occurred since downloading the latest version.
Yes, I re-upload my site because I cannot leave it offline for several days ...
It is under maintenance again if you want to go take a look before I fix it ...

Honestly, I am afraid I am not sure why the files have been replaced by the corrupted ones again and again. I have never seen such issue before.

Did you always get the problem with only the "assets.php" file?

Could you check if there possibly is some server log that recorded the file activities and which processes cause the issue?

  • missdiamant42 replied

It seems to me yes that it was always this file worries ...

Where can I find this server file? On OVH?

    Paul replied

Sorry but I am not sure about the server's sytem administration or where to find all the system logs. I would suggest you need some server admins to help you check this kind of issue.

I just saw that my site has the problem again. I re-upload the asset file but nothing is doing this time ...
