In the demo theme (portfolio page) there is a gallery slider when I click the photos inside. I can't seem to find this feature in widgets or anywhere else on my website..
Please go to "Appearance > Customize > Theme Settings > Portfolio Settings" then scroll down and make sure that the "Enable Lightbox" option is enabled (screenshot: https://share.getcloudapp.com/6quLDeGd ).
Could you please tell me where to find the normal Wordpress Gallery? I can only add the normal one from the blog and I would really love to have the slider (it's a photography blog and the photos appear to small if I don't add this feature)

You can add a normal WordPress Gallery to the post content. Once any image of that gallery is clicked, the same lightbox slider should be displayed.
