I have just installed Christopher and am trying to make my own website look exactly like the live preview. I have looked everywhere, but can't figure out how to make my homepage into my portfolio. I have posted one portfolio item so far, and have created portfolio categories. I have tried to create a page with the portfolio parent category but it is not showing up with anything. I haven't posted any blog posts.

In this case, I would recommend importing the XML file (included in the purchased package) to get most posts, pages and portfolio items like the demo website. For the detailed instruction of how to install the theme and import the file, please check out the theme documentation which is also in the downloaded package.
