Did you mean the home slider that only appears on homepage? If so, please use "Home Slider" menu on your admin panel to manage the slides (in case you are using "Default Slider").
But if you are using "LayerSlider" for the homepage, you would have to use "LayerSlider WP" menu to manage the sliders instead.
Note that you can set the slider type for homepage in "Theme Options > Home Slider" to use either Default Slider or LayerSlider.
