Hmm. I just opened your website and the overall widths are the same as the demo site. So, I am not sure I understand it correctly. Could you please elaborate what you meant by "demo site a small width than I have at my own web page" ?
I just opened both sites in another computer and effectively are both the same.
This one is a Windows PC with Google Chrome browser. At home, I have an iMac and with iE I can see it right but with Chrome I see my web wider than the demo site.

Would it be possible that the zoom on Chrome is set to something more than 100%?
