Unfortunately, portfolio single pages will not display the featured image by default. They will only display the images (or video) from the format content meta box right below the normal text content like what you see on the demo site: http://themes.uxbarn.com/wp/viceversa/portfolio/the-fashion-weeks/
You would have to manually customize the template file in order to change that.
