Hi, I have a Portfolio Category Listing on my homepage. When I click on one of them the page goes to 'portfolio-category', but I want it right away to 'portfolio' to show my gallery. So now I have to click twice on the same picture to go to my galley...

    Hi there!

Just wondering what version of the theme are you using? The latest version comes with a new page template called "All Works" template. You can use this template to directly list your portfolio items instead of categories. Then once it is clicked, you will be navigated to the portfolio single page straight away.

If you do not see the template, please update the theme to the latest version first. For more information of how to update, you can read it in the theme documentation which is right in the purchased package.

    Hope this helps!

    Regards,
    Paul

    Great, that works!

Another question: How can I have a blank section in the menu like the example? I made a custom link, but my dot (.) is black...

And can I have a different homepage, a page that you should enter the site with a video on the background and my logo in the center? When you click you enter the site and see the homepage like I have now (just like your example).
    Thanks a lot!

For the blank menu, please check out this article: https://uxbarn.ticksy.com/article/9687/

The theme itself does not have the functionality for the splash page. I think there should be some plugin out there providing that. You can try google with keywords like "splash page plugin wordpress".

I would like to know if it's possible to show the images landscape insteat of portrait? I can't find it in the demo of Finnik.

    Thank you.

    Hi @kristelpeijnenborg!

Unfortunately, the theme design only comes with portrait orientation for the portfolio category and item cover images.
